《异教徒(2006)》剧情简介
警官爱德华（尼古拉斯?凯奇 Nicolas Cage饰）在高速公路上巡逻时，亲眼目睹了一个悲惨的交通事故。他尽力去营救车内的女孩儿，结果被炸伤。在休息的日子里，爱德华经常会产生关于那个女孩儿的幻觉，他只能依靠药物来治疗。
一天，爱德华收到了多年前不辞而别的女友薇萝的来信。信中说她一直生活在一个隐秘的小岛上，最近她的女儿罗恩失踪了，但岛上没有人愿意帮她，她只得求助爱德华。而巧合的是女儿的照片和车祸中的女孩儿几乎一模一样。
爱德华带着疑惑来到了那座偏僻的小岛。经过调查，他发现似乎岛上的居民都在故意隐瞒罗恩的存在，而一切证据似乎都跟当地的一种神秘的祭祀仪式有关……
